An issue is the record Copernico keeps of each manual change made to a participant or a group of participants.
These are the most common changes that create issues:
- Bib or tag swap between two participants (see How to swap the bib or tag between two participants (Swap)).
- Time editing.
- Participant data editing.
- Status change (for example, disqualifying a participant).
You can review issues and undo any of these changes by deleting its issue.
1. Race issues panel
- Click the Issues button (exclamation icon) on the right sidebar. The Issues panel opens with all the issues of the race, newest first. Each issue shows an icon with its type, the affected participant (name and bib; click it to open the participant), the changed data and the date and time.
- In the Issues panel you can perform the following actions:
- Search by the participant's bib.
- Filter the issues by date and time range with the slider.
- Filter the issues by type with the drop-down list.
- Delete an issue with the trash can icon. Copernico asks for confirmation in the Deletion confirm window (“Are you sure to remove the issue? This can't be undone.”): click Remove. When the issue is deleted, the change is undone.
- Delete all the issues shown in the list at once with the Delete visible issues button. Only the issues matching the search and the filters applied are deleted.
If the race has no issues, the panel shows the message “There are no issues in this race”.
2. Participant's issues
To see only one participant's issues, select the participant in the participants table, right-click and choose Participant's issues (exclamation icon). You can also open them from the participant's readings page, with the exclamation button of its side menu.
The Participant's issues panel opens, without search or filters. Issues are deleted in the same way as in the race panel: with the trash can icon, confirming the deletion.
3. Issues in the Log
If a change in the race, in a participant or in their readings creates an issue, it can also be seen in the Log section. In the Issues column, actions that created issues show a link (information, with an eye icon) that opens a panel with them. If they have already been deleted, it shows “Issues deleted”.
