How to swap the bib or tag between two participants (Swap)

The Swap option exchanges the bib, the tag or both between two participants.

The two most common uses of this option are:

• When two participants have exchanged bibs.
• When a participant has exchanged tags with another participant, but not bibs.

1. How to swap

1. In Participants, select the participants' event in the event selector of the table. The Swap option is not available when All events is selected.
2. Select exactly two participants in the table.
3. Right-click the selection and choose Swap (arrows icon). If the option is greyed out, check that you have selected an event and two participants.

4. At the top of the Swap panel, two cards show the name and bib of each participant. Below them are the BIB and TAG blocks, each with an arrows icon. Click the arrows icon of the block you want to exchange (bib, tag or both): the values are exchanged and the block is highlighted. Click it again to cancel.
5. Click SAVE. The button is disabled until you exchange at least one block. The panel closes and Copernico shows a confirmation message.

Let's check out a feature that allows us to change bibs and tags between two participants. When we select two participants, we can choose Swap. Swap will allow us to change both the bib and the tag assigned to any given participant.

Simply, as you've seen, click the button [right-click] to select participants. Then select the Swap button [option of the context menu] and select the change we want to make. This usually happens when bibs are exchanged between two people who know each other, or there is a change for some reason.

We will be able to make the change [SAVE button] and the names will be changed from one participant to the other. If we double-check the last name, you can see the change we just made. This is marked as an issue, and we will be able to delete it if necessary.
