Modifying participant data

In a multievent race, modifying participant data can be somewhat different.

This means that there are certain data that can be edited for all events and other data that can be modified event by event.

For example, the first and last names will be the same for all events, so when you make a change it will carry over to all events.

On the other hand, you may have to change a participant's tag in one of the stages (or event) because their tag is broken, lost, etc.

To edit the data, select the participant in Participants, right-click it and choose Edit selected (you can also use the Edit selected icon, a pencil, in the right sidebar). The edit panel is described in detail in Editing participants.

In the Edit panel, the tab shows the name of the overall event followed by (Stages); for example, "General (Stages)". From this tab you edit the data for all the events.

The first block, already open, contains the data shared by all stages: name, surname, date of birth, gender, category, club, attributes… Changes made here apply to all stages. In this block you can also change the Bib and the Tag for all stages at once (the tag field appears when Automatic tag assignment is cleared).

Below the shared block there is a collapsible block for each stage, named after the stage. Expand the stage you want to change to edit the participant's data only for that particular event (stage): Bib, Tag, Start Time Mode and, with the Wave start time mode, the wave and its start time. For example, to change or add a new tag in case of breakage or loss, or to assign the participant a different wave in that stage.

When you are done, click Save.
