๐Ÿš€ Key TS2+ Update: Performance and Connectivity Improvements

 

The Timingsense team has been working on major improvements for the TS2+.

We have released one of the most important updates for the device, including significant enhancements in both the reader and communication system.

 

๐Ÿ”Ž Before you start: important recommendations

  • ๐Ÿ”Œ Keep the timing device connected to power or ensure sufficient battery
  • ๐Ÿ“ถ Ensure a stable Internet connection. With the new FW version, the color of the Ethernet connection LED has changed from red to yellow. Once the update is complete, you can verify that it was successful by checking that the Ethernet connection LED is yellow.
  • โ›” Do not interrupt the process during reboot

 

 

โœ… Automatic reader update

The TS2+ reader updates automatically, with no user intervention required.

  • ๐Ÿ“ก The device must be connected to Internet (WiFi, Ethernet or GSM)
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Approximate download size: 200 MB

What do you need to do?

Nothing ๐Ÿ‘

The device will handle the entire process:

  1. Automatically downloads the update
  2. The cloud LED will blink rapidly when ready

 


 

โš™๏ธ CPU update (action required)

 

To complete the improvement, the CPU of the timing device must be updated.

 

Note: This step requires a simple action from you.

 

Steps to follow

  1. Connect to the TS2+ WiFi using your phone or PC
  2. Access the device web interface

  3. On the configuration page, click "update" to start updating the CPU from the interface

 

๐Ÿ“Œ Installation will complete on the next device reboot.

  • The full reboot takes approximately 7โ€“9 minutes
  • LED indicators may change during the process
