How to interact with the TS2+ device locally

This article explains how to connect a TS2+ timing device to the Internet, access its configuration interface, and verify correct operation.

How to connect to TS2+?

All TS2+ devices broadcast a Wi-Fi network that you can connect to from any device—a tablet, a PC, or a mobile phone.

The structure is as follows:

  • SSID: TS2+ XXXXX
  • Password: TS2plus@

Now, to connect:

  1. Open the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your PC, tablet, or phone.
  2. Select the TS2+ network.
  3. Enter the password.
  4. Once connected, access the web interface.

Access web interface

In a web browser, you can connect to the device using the following URL:

http://ts2plus.local/

The management interface will load automatically.

System summary

You can check:

  • Connectivity status. Remember the connection priority: if all connections are available (cable, Wi-Fi, or GSM), the preferred connection is cable, followed by Wi-Fi, and finally GSM.
  • Battery status
  • RFID reader status
  • System. The name of the device you are connected to (important if you have multiple devices).

How to configure Internet Wi-Fi connection

  1. Go to Network.
  2. Click Scan or press XX more networks to display all detected networks.
  3. Select a network.
  4. Enter the password.
  5. Click Connect.

The status of this Wi-Fi connection will show Connected ✅.

Note: It works just like a phone or a computer. If you connect to the network, the data is stored. If you don't connect to that network, the data won't be stored.
