How to create locations in Sportmaniacs

1. Create the race in Sportmaniacs.
2. Create one event. If you are only going to use the cloud, you don't need to create more than one.
3. In the event, select "splits" to create a new one.

4. Click on "create splits". You can also copy the points and locations from an existing race.

5. In the next step fill in the fields:
   1. Name. The name of the point.
   2. Physical location. This will be the one that will be shown in the devices as selectable when you want to add a device to a physical location.
   3. Split type. The type of split must be selected in order to save the configuration.

Although alerts are displayed, they can be ignored. They were intended for a function that has become obsolete.

It is not necessary that the race is published to work with cloud, although you will have to publish it if you want to show rankings of any of its events.
