Avanced options in timing points

How to configure the advanced options in timing points.

Within the race configuration in our event, you can access timing points and use the pencil icon to configure advanced options.

These advanced options will change. For example, if the timing point is a lap, en advanced option you can see the minimum time from the previous lap.

If we configure the backup, we will see that we have more options. The general options for each advanced menu will be the name of the checkpoint, the location we are using for the checkpoint, the type of checkpoint, and then we will have minimum time options.

The first option is the minimum time from the start time, where we can set a minimum validity time for readings and a maximum time. The second option is a minimum time from the previous checkpoint. If I go to kilometer 6 and edit, I can set a minimum time from the start of the race or from the previous checkpoint. And when we have laps, we can set a minimum lap time from the previous lap. This way, we have three systems to ensure that the minimum and maximum times are correct, setting them from the start of the clock, from the previous lap, and from the previous checkpoint.

If necessary, we could configure a backup in the advanced menu, creating a location for this backup, marking whether it is before or after the main checkpoint, and indicating the difference in seconds. The time created in this backup will be the backup reading, adding or subtracting the difference if we do not have a reading at the main checkpoint.

The last option in the advanced menu is the reading detection system. We will see that it is always selected by default. This default value will be the last reading for start-type checkpoints and the first reading for the rest of the checkpoint types. If we do not select anything, it will always be like this. The start will be the last reading, and the standard and finish will be the first reading. If we want a checkpoint to have a different system, we just need to come and select that we want to use the last reading
