Unique athlete ID

This is a field used to uniquely identify each participant in Copernicus.

This value can be imported, i.e. the same value as the participant's bib can be used during the import process. Simply duplicate the bib column and rename the header.

It can be associated when importing participants. The name of the field is “unique ID”.

If not imported, copernico will automatically create a unique identifier.

In any of the cases, when a csv file is exported from the “participants” section, the first column of the exported file will show this value. In the image above you can see an example of a value generated by copernico.

This is an important field as it is used in:

  1. Athlete follow up: when a person marks a participant as a favorite in Live APP or Live web, the unique identifier allows modifications or updates to be made without the followers losing their favorites.
  2. Updates or modifications of participant data. In the following article we explain how to do it.
  3. Importing times: In the following article we explain how it affects.
