How to use multiple views in participants

In Participants you can keep several participant views, each with different information.

For example, you can have a participant view with the information of a timing point of the race, with the bib number, the name and the passing times at each of the points.

Another view with the scratch classification of the race.

Another view with the female scratch classification of the race.

You can make as many combinations as you need.

1. How to create a new view

Creating a new view is simple:

1. Click the + button next to Participants in the race menu.

2. Enter a name for the view in the browser window that opens (Enter the name you want to give to the new “Participants”) and accept. If you cancel or leave the name empty, the view is not created.

3. Choose the information to display in this view: for example, a preset (presets button, List of presets panel) or the event. If you have set a default participants preset (Default Participants preset) in the Copernico configuration, the new view starts with it.

4. Make the changes you need in the view so that it displays the information you need. For example, apply a new filter to the preset. Once applied, even if you switch to another view, when you open the view where you applied the filter again, it shows the information with the filter applied as you left it.

5. The views you create appear below Participants in the race menu; to go back to a view, select it there. You can reorder them by dragging. To delete a view, hover over it and click the red - button that appears; it is deleted without confirmation and you return to the main view.

2. Why use multiple participant views?

You can have several views at the same time without creating a preset for each one. Changes made in a view do not modify the preset unless you overwrite it.
