Hello. In this video we are going to explain how to send readings from your Macsha devices to Copernico. To do this you will need Macsha's Rufus program and our Rufus Connect program.
First, start Macsha's Rufus program to connect the timing devices and start receiving the readings. Set up the following points:
- Select All in Race.
- Make sure that Start also data reception is checked.
- Start data reception.
- Open the Acquisition menu.
Once this is done, in the Acquisition menu add the devices that will obtain readings. The following process has to be repeated for each device you are connecting:
- Select the type of device.
- Add its IP address and select a timing point.
- Click connect.
- Synchronize the clock of the device.
- Press PLAY to start sending readings.
Make sure that the computer running Rufus, which will synchronize the time with the reader, is in the same time zone as the Copernico race. Otherwise, you will receive readings with incorrect times.
Now run Rufus Connect. Once the menu is open, click Login to connect to your Copernico race. After that, set up Rufus Connect to start sending readings:
- Enter the IP of each of the connected devices. The previously connected devices will appear first.
- Select a timing point (location in Copernico) for each of the connected devices.
- Finally, if all the configuration and connections are correct, you will see the readings arrive correctly in Copernico.
With Rufus Connect you can rewind (retrieve) the readings of a device as follows: select Load File... to load the files retrieved from the Macsha devices. The supported file formats are .csv and .tag. After loading the file, follow these steps:
- Select the timing point where those readings were recorded.
- Use a time filter if necessary, in case you do not want to send all the readings contained in the file.
- Click Load File.
