All Timingsense chips have a unique numbering. This numbering is composed of:
- Company code
- Race code
- Unique athlete identification code, which in many cases matches the bib number
When you place an order for chips for a race, they are delivered already encoded with:
- A company number (always the same)
- A specific number for that race (if you have requested it)
From the race configuration in Sportmaniacs you can:
- Activate the filters automatically created with your order
- Add new filters if you use leftover chips from other races
❗ Important
When you activate the filter in Sportmaniacs, it is applied in the cloud. It is not applied on the device.
💡 You will still be able to create filters directly from the timing device. We explain how to do it in this article . Although we do not recommend it.

All filters can be activated or deactivated. Remember to click on Save after any modification ✅.
ℹ️ Readings that do not meet the active filters will not be sent from the cloud to Copernico and other software, but they will remain stored in the cloud.
- This allows you to recover them by deactivating the filter and rewinding the timing devices. You can rewind both in Copernico and in TSConnector.
- Of course, all readings will also be stored on the device, allowing you to rewind them directly from the device. In the following article we explain how .
