Live Activation

Since March 2023, Live must be enabled for each race in Copernico for its results to be published in the apps or to use external APIs, for example, the APIs used for the live broadcast of a race.

Enabling Live is very simple.

1. In the race, click Plugins in the left-hand menu.

   

2. Select the Live plugin.

   

   You can also go there directly with the LIVE button at the bottom of the side menu. Its icon shows the status of the service: grey with a red "no" sign if Live is not enabled, and green if it is enabled.

3. If Live is not enabled, the message "This competition's LIVE service is currently disabled" is displayed. Click Enable LIVE service. Copernico asks for confirmation with this warning: "You are about to enable the LIVE service for competition “…”. This service has an attached fee, EVEN IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN ACTIVE APP. Are you sure you want to continue?". Click Yes to enable it.

   

Once enabled, the LIVE Config form appears on the same screen and works as before.

If you only use the Live Web in a simple way, the Live Timing card shows the link for each event of the race. Next to each link you can copy it, get the code to embed the widget in a website (Widget), open it in a new tab or publish it on Sportmaniacs (see How to add Copernico Live on Sportmaniacs?).
