AirGate - Quick Guide

The AirGate is a timing device with UHF reading that, together with the AirGate mobile application, allows chip readings to be performed quickly, reliably, and synchronized with copernico.

This manual explains step by step how to log in, configure the device, perform readings, and manage reading sessions.

Access to the app

  1. Open the AirGate application.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Tap LOGIN.

💡 The eye icon allows you to show or hide the password.

Company selection

  1. Tap the Choose company dropdown.
  2. Select the corresponding company (for example, cronochip).
  3. Tap CONTINUE.

⚠️ If you do not select a company, you will not be able to receive readings.

Main reading screen

When accessing the application, the timing device automatically starts in reading mode.

❗ This means that once the company is selected, it will begin reading the chips in front of it.

Reader status

  • Waiting for reading (red dot + green button): the reader is ready but is not reading.

READING (green dot + red button): the reader is actively reading chips.

Start and stop a reading

  • ▶️ Green button (Play): starts the reading.
  • ⏹️ Red button (Stop): stops the reading by holding it down.
Important note: The AirGate starts up in continuous transmission mode, which will drain the battery quickly. If you want to use it in “gun mode”—that is, to start and stop taking readings—you must first disable continuous transmission mode. Simply hold down the red button until the circle completes.

After that, whenever you want to start, you can press the trigger to begin (the status will change to “reading”), and when you want to stop, press the trigger again (the status will change to “waiting for reading”).
