TSConnector 2 - Quick Guide

1. What is TSConnector?

TSConnector is a tool designed to manage and centralize readings from timingsense devices. It works on Cloud 2, allowing all configuration and data to sync in real time from any device with an internet connection.

2. Access to the program

After installing TSConnector, you must log in with your timingsense username and password. This credential is the same one you use in Copérnico, but not the same as in Sportmaniacs.

3. Company selection

If your user account is registered under several companies, you must select the one you will work with before starting the configuration.

4. Add a location

On the main screen you will find:

  • “+” button (upper left corner): used to add a new location.
  • Three-line icon: opens the settings menu.
  • Connection indicator (upper right corner): shows whether TSConnector has internet access.

Click the “+” button to create a new location.

5. Name the location

When clicking “+”, a pop-up will appear where you can enter the name of the new location. Confirm to add it.

6. Location information

Once created, each location will display:

  • Its name.
  • The number of total readings.
  • The number of unique readings.

7. Add devices to the location

To add devices, click the “+” button again inside the location. A pop‑up will open to configure the hours during which the devices will send readings to that location. This allows you to have predefined configurations in case you need to move devices between locations. After setting the time range, click Continue.

For example, if your race starts at 8:00 a.m., have your devices send readings to the server before that time—at 7:30 or even 7:00. That way, you’ll start receiving readings earlier and can verify that everything is correct.

8. Device selection

All available devices will then be displayed, organized by type:

  • 8‑port devices
  • 4‑port devices
  • TS2Plus
  • Other compatible models

9. Device status

Once added, the devices will appear inside the assigned location with two possible visual states:
  • Salmon tone: device not connected
  • White background: device connected

10. Actions available per device

When clicking the three dots on any device you can perform these actions:
  • Remove the device from the location
  • Deactivate it (it will stop sending readings to that location)
  • Rewind it
  • Move it to the left or right within the list

11. Actions on a full location

If you click the three dots located to the left of the name of a location, you can:
  • Rewind all devices associated
  • Delete the location

12. Reorder locations

TSConnector allows you to reorganize locations using drag & drop:
You simply need to click on a location and drag it up or down.
